HC17 Canals Helipad is the multiplayer conversion of last part of the Water Hazard part of the single player campaign – just before Black Mesa East.
Map is mostly open plan so it encourages sniping. To make things more exciting all steel barrels were replaced with their explosive counterparts.
There is a one way teleport leading from big red building (you won’t miss it) to the cave containing the RPG launcher.
Map is compiled with HDR lighting.
Original map D1_Canals13 by Valve is coming from Half-Life 2 single player campaign.
